ICOT College has run in Dublin since 2009, later adding a second Irish base in Cork in 2017. That makes ICOT College Dublin the original campus, with well over a decade of experience running English programmes in Ireland, not a newer branch still finding its feet.

The school sits on Westmoreland Street, right in the heart of Dublin city centre, between O’Connell Bridge and Trinity College, on the edge of Temple Bar. Students are steps from the city’s main streets, transport links, and everything Dublin has to offer, all within walking distance from day one.

ICOT College Dublin runs a range of English programmes built around different student goals, from general English through to combined study and work options. Whatever level a student arrives at, the school structures a path forward from it, rather than offering a single fixed course for everyone.

Support runs through the whole experience, not just the classroom. Past students consistently point to real help with accommodation, registration, and day-to-day questions once they land, the kind of practical support that matters most in someone’s first few weeks in a new country.

Studying in Dublin also means being in Ireland’s capital, with the country’s biggest job market, transport links, and range of city life on your doorstep. It’s a bigger, busier base than Cork, giving students more happening around them while they focus on their English.

Main Airports
Dublin Airport (DUB) is the most popular choice because it is Ireland’s largest international hub and offers the widest selection of incoming global flights.
ICOT College operates two campuses in Ireland, with schools situated in the city centres of Dublin and Cork. General English classes begin every Monday, except on public holidays. Students must be at least 18 years old to enrol in the courses.
Class sizes have a strict limit of 15 students per room. Courses run from 1 to 25 weeks, involving 15 hours of weekly classroom study. Students usually advance to the next language level after roughly 12 weeks, depending on their individual progress and weekly test results.
The college offers standard General English as well as a combined General English plus IELTS preparation course for advanced learners. Students also get access to free extracurricular activities to get more practice. These extra sessions include CV writing workshops, conversation practice, and TIE exam preparation.
A student support team helps learners navigate practical needs like bank documents, visa processes, and finding suitable accommodation. Students can also book an airport pick-up service to take them directly to their accommodation upon arrival. Furthermore, specialised CV classes help students format their work history to European standards to assist with job hunting.
Students use the online ICOT Student Portal to handle their administrative and academic tasks. The online platform allows you to track your class attendance in real time and view your exam results. You can also use the system to submit holiday requests or apply for reinstatement after an absence.
